Herbaceous Peony Roses have beautifully fragrant double blooms that once established will grow to a shrub approximately 1 mitre.  Excellent cut flowers.  No flowers the first year some in the second and mass blooming the third.  They do need a chill factor to preform well so winter frosts.

Itoh Peony Roses  This variety is a cross between a Tree Peony and Herbaceous varieties which are well suited to areas with a warmer more temperate climate that do not get frost. They also have a higher tolerance to disease.  They carry foliage similar to that of the tree peony however die back to ground level just as their herbaceous cousins.  They also have a larger range of colours. with a beautiful fragrance.
