Garlic - New Zeland Purple 

New Zealand Purple is a heritage variety. It is large in size, with beautiful purple streaked skin, large chunky cloves, a hardneck variety that is low bolting.  A rich peppery flavour with a creamy aftertaste and is said to be highly medicinal due to its higher levels of Allicin.  Matures October.  Stores very Well.   Excellent for cooking/eating or use as an insect deterrent.  Bulbs are suitable to eat immediately as they chemical free.
